A Szaharából érkező porfelhő beborította Athént és más görög városokat. Szakértők szerint ez az egyik legrosszabb porfelhő, amely 2018 óta elérte az országot.
A délről érkező erős szél több régiót sárgás-narancssárga köddel borította be, ami korlátozta a látási viszonyokat, és a hatóságok légzési veszélyekre figyelmeztettek.
